Walking begins with taking one step. And then another. But what if you can't see the next step? Who will guide you? Who will help you navigate the unknown? That's where faith becomes real and obedience requires taking the next step by walking through the door of the unknown. Do you need to take the first step or are you just hesitant to take the next? Attend this year's retreat and don't look back!

    Featuring Keynote Speaker:
    JenniferRothschildHeadshot.jpg Jennifer Rothschild
Jennifer understands what it means to live by faith and not by sight. At the young ate of fifteen, Jennifer was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative eye disease that would eventually steal her sight. It was more than a turning point. Her dreams of becoming a commercial artist and cartoonist faded. Words and music have replaced her canvas and palette for more than 25 years.
Jennifer has taken her message of encouragement across the country speaking at national and regional gatherings of busy professionals, dedicated volunteers, and overwhelmed moms and dads. Jennifer has been a featured speaker for the nations largest conference for women, Women of Faith, and has teamed up with Beth Moore and others to lead national women's conferences. Thousands have come away with a new vision for their work, their family, and their future.

    marian photo two.jpg Marian Jordan
Marian has a passion for young women who flock to the parade of emptiness. She is a dynamic speaker that leaves indelible marks on her audience... painful rib cages from laughter, and mind-searing impressions of being so-dead-on to one's private dilemmas. Marian has the gift of applying sound Biblical truth to the tender wounds of bleeding hearts. The girl can teach. The girl can relate. And the girl can moved a wounded heart to change... through an introduction to Jesus Christ, the Lord and Lover of her soul.
Today Marian is the founder of Redeemed Girl Ministries. She is an active speaker, guest lecturer, and published author. She lives in Houston where she serves at her home church, Second Baptist Church of Houston when not on the road at speaking engagements.

    MarcyEdited.jpg Marcy Priest
Marcy is a musical artist with a passion to serve. Growing up in Oklahoma City as a preacher's kid, Marcy has found her own niche of serving in church as a worship leader of one of the largest churches in the United States. You'll be blessed by her heart of worship during each general session.

    New for 2008!

    • Three Breakouts Sessions: Once again, we're offering three times where you can choose from a great variety of breakout sessions, including how to study the Bible deeper and the importance of the 2008 election.
    • Super Seminar For Women In Their 20s and 30s: Marian Jordan, speaker and author, will lead a three-part seminar from her soon to be released book, "Wilderness Steps for Women." As the founder of Redeemed Girl Ministries, Marian will share in-depth Biblical principles you can apply to your life. You're encouraged to attend all three times in the chapel!
    • Ministry Project: Each year we take an offering on Saturday morning to benefit a special missions project. This year we will be collecting money to help provide a new missions building for CrossTimbers, the new children's missions education camp. This new building will provide computer access to communicate with missionaries in different countries, a small kitchen where children can learn how to cook international cuisine and a facility to learn more about sharing Christ. Talk about opening the door of faith to a new building!
    • Expanded Transportation: There will be more golf carts to help you move from the parking lot to the cabin as well as Falls Creek shuttles to help you get from one place to another.
    • LifeWay Bookstore: LifeWay Christian Resources will offer a selection of books and products in the new Missions Center at Falls Creek. Not only will you want to check out the new building, but you will want to visite the store. Plus, you won't want to leave without a t-shirt from the conference!
    • Expanded and Catered Food: For the first time, we are offering three meals - Friday evening and Saturday breakfast and lunch. These catered meals will be served in the amphitheatre and on Friday evening after the general session you'll want to take advantage of vendor options such as nachos and soft pretzels you can purchase!
